MetroLaser Celebrates 21 Years of Operation

MetroLaser, founded in June, 1988, celebrated our twenty first anniversary on May 23, 2009 . Traditionally, the party has been hosted by founders Cecil Hess and Jim Trolinger, in their homes. Breaking with tradition this year, the party was held at Dave and Busters at the Irvine Spectrum ( a sort of Las Vegas for kids), where a special room and buffet was set aside for the company. Each employee and family member received gaming cards for free play, a special treat for the kids (as well as most of the fathers).

As part of the celebration, certificates designating years of service were handed out to all employees. Chris Arnold, director of administration, is our longest serving employee (not counting Jim and Cecil) with seventeen years of service. Each year we celebrate not only the evolution of MetroLaser into a world class research and development team but also the growth of the careers and families of the team. MetroLaser employees, their children, and their grandchildren participated in the celebration.

Congratulations MetroLaser people for 21 years of successful, pioneering research and development in the field of optical diagnostics and thanks to all the families for supporting us through long hours of hard work and extensive travel to faraway places to make measurements with laser based instruments!
